Very nice 18th century George III Sheffield plate sugar bowl of large size. Beautiful shape with reeded decoration to the base and floral engraved pattern round the top.
There is a very nice lion type crest to one side and initials to the other side.
Virtually all the silver plating is in tact but there is copper showing through on some of the edges as to be expected on a piece of this age.
