RARE early 18th century Queen Anne period walnut cabriole leg wing chair in good condition. Great shape to this rare chair with carved cabriole front legs with scroll decoration and shaped square profile rear legs. The upholstery on the chair is in good condition and the covering is good and clean with only slight wear to the arms, comes with the  cushion for the seat. Having looked through the corners of the under cover the framing all appears to be original although there is historic worm damage. There may be old repairs to the framing inside but without removing the bottom cover completely (which I don't really want to do) I can't say for definite one way or the other. The chair is in pretty firm condition so no internal breaks. All the legs are in good condition with no breaks or repairs and they retain a good colour with great patina. Probably a Ladies one. Altogether this is a very nice exmaple of a rare period wing chair.

SIZE;  33" wide by 23" deep by 44" high. The seat height is 19"

CIRCA; 1710 - 1730
